About The Author
Dr. Salma Jamil Haddad is a Syrian academic, researcher, poet, novelist, and lexicographer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Damascus and both her Master’s and Ph.D. in Translation from Heriot-Watt University in Britain.
A prominent voice in translation and cultural studies, she has published numerous scholarly works and literary studies, along with four acclaimed novels and several poetry collections in Arabic and English. Her fiction bridges intellect and emotion, blending poetic sensitivity with philosophical depth.
